SAFETY EXCELLENCE
Although VoltaGrid employs dedicated full-time safety and training personnel, the remote nature of our work and our small crew sizes make individual responsibility for safety even more critical. Every employee is trained to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

VoltaGrid's policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training programs reinforce a culture of personal accountability for safety. However, safety extends beyond individual performance. True safety excellence also includes protecting equipment, safeguarding the environment, and ensuring these principles are embedded in every aspect of our operations.
Our GPS program includes:

Includes task, and equipment standard operating procedures (“SOPs”)

Requires rigorous training for all employees, including classroom and remote training programs customized by equipment, task, policy, and roles (e.g., new hires, supervisors, and senior leadership)

Improves field performance with job safety analyses (“JSA”)

GPS PROGRAM
VoltaGrid's GPS program provides a comprehensive framework for safety, quality, and operational excellence across our organization.
Aligned with recognized industry standards and integrated into our management systems, the program combines rigorous training, standardized procedures, data-driven performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives to help promote the safety of our people, the reslience of our operations, and the successful delivery of every project.

STOP WORK AUTHORITY
All VoltaGrid employees are expected to proactively identify and mitigate hazards daily. Every employee holds Stop Work Authority (SWA), the mandate to intervene whenever a hazardous condition is observed, ask safety questions, or report inadequate training. Supervisors must then remedy the situation for safe completion.
VoltaGrid guarantees no discipline or negative repercussions for valid SWA interventions. If you believe you are being disciplined for using SWA, email whistleblower@voltagrid.com immediately.
